Made these two flasks for a customer, Brass over stainless steel. I really like the way the words came out, and was able to match them pretty closely.

I learned from a customer that a badge I had made for them years ago suffered a horrible road injury and was lost, so this is a replacement. I changed it up a bit this time adding some rivets for extra strength, and using stainless steel as a backing instead of nickle, hopefully the additional strength will mean that this new badge can withstand anything the road can throw at it.

Stainless is kind of hard to work with as it “sucks” up all the heat and makes it hard to solder, but I was happy with the way this came out. The shine of the copper offsets the steal nicely.
